Service organizations:
Lon is active in the local community and is involved with the Blue Jay Village Business Association. Additionally, Lon is on the Board of Directors of the Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce. As an active Rotarian, Lon is the editor of the “Arrowtarian”, the monthly publication of the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Club. Lon also devotes community service time to The New Friends of the Lake Arrowhead Library and is a yearly participant in Christmas In April projects, sponsored by Mountain Hearts and Lives and Rebuilding Together.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Lon received his certificate as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner in 1993, from the College For Financial Planning in Denver, CO, and joined LPL in January of 1999.
Lon and his wife, Jan, are members of University Church in Loma Linda, and supporters of KSGN “Good News” radio. They make their home in Lake Arrowhead, CA.
