The financial planning process begins with a thorough understanding of your current financial situation, the goals you have developed for yourself, and the risk tolerances you have set in the management of your assets. To see just how important this step is, download the data collection form that you will find on this page. Complete as much as you can before you even meet with us. Once you have the initial data collected, we will schedule a formal meeting to discuss and complete the forms with you.
From this fact finding process, we are able to construct a personal financial plan, complete with recommended strategies for reaching your goals. This plan comes together in an individual Investment Policy Statement so that both you and your planner have a clear idea of the path you will take toward your goals and the actions you will implement along the way.
Once you have agreed to the plan and the recommendations are implemented, we establish a schedule for the on-going monitoring of your account. We also schedule periodic meetings with you, in order to cover the performance of the portfolio and to incorporate any changes that may have developed in your financial situation.
